Chelsey Olafson

Chelsey Olafson began nannying in 2011 when she moved to the Twin Cities. After gaining years of experience and growing as a professional nanny, Chelsey noticed a need for an active and informed local nanny community, so she helped build one, starting with Hotdish Nannies in 2020. When the local chapter of International Nanny Training Day needed new leadership, Chelsey was eager to step in as a co-chair, and together, they founded the Twin Cities Nanny Education Collective in 2021. Chelsey views the nanny role from a different lens as she’s recently become a parent herself. Chelsey continues to work as a nanny, while bringing her one-year-old son along with her. Chelsey is passionate about advocating for nannies to return to work with their children and has started a new group for mothers who work as a nanny, “Minnesota Moms who Nanny.” Chelsey cherishes the strong connection made with the children she cares for. She loves to stay in touch with all of them and remain a special part of their lives. As a nanny, Chelsey enjoys open-ended and child-led activities, messy sensory activities and crafts, regularly stocking up on a beautiful pile of library books, being outside as much as possible, and always having a dance partner. Her favorite local playground is Rosland Park in Edina.

Faith is a founding member of the Twin Cities Nanny Education Collective and is passionate about helping nannies feel empowered while building a strong community. Faith is extremely patient, creative and is a huge advocate for kindness and equality. She is passionate about mental health care and emotional regulation. Faith earned a bachelor's in Communication Disorders & Sciences from Minnesota State University-Mankato, focusing on child language development and behavioral science. She loves helping children build their confidence, find their voice and learn healthy problem solving skills to effectively communicate their wants and needs. Before becoming a full time nanny, Morgan earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Dairy Manufacturing and worked in the cheese production field. Morgan has a heart for a nanny fellowship community having served as an admin for a nanny Facebook group and hosted nanny community events in Los Angeles. She’s looking forward to serving on the TCNEC council this year to help bring Nannies together and create long lasting friendships.
